I was born and raised in the valley of Golden, British Columbia. I've spent most of my time riding the mountains with my family and friends and now know most of the areas fairly well, but still haven't covered a smidge of the endless terrain.
My Cousin Ryan and Uncle Ken introduced me into downhill mountain biking, taking me up Mount 7 to ride down the trail 5k for the very first time at the age of 7. It took us roughly half an hour to ride down, walking the tougher sections, while now we cruise down in roughly 5 minutes! Since that day on I have been riding and racing more and more each year, pushing myself to try and perfect my game!
My Dad and Mom have rode snowmobiles since they can remember and started me on my first sled, a Ski-Doo mini Z, when I was about 3. I rode that thing till it was literally falling apart (trailing arms bent etc.) and have ridden each year pushing myself, trying stupid things and learning from each attempt, to be just like biking "the best possible rider I can be". Biking and Sledding have really fallen well into place to divide up my life. I never really have a large period of time not doing what I love.
Now-a-days I'm still riding both my steads and finding ways to further what I can do while going to school and having fun at what I do!
